About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful set of 4 vintage iconic Plia folding chairs, with black metal frame and transparent plastic seats. The Plia chair was designed in 1967 by the Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti and produced by Castelli. With the Plia chair, the designer revolutionized the concept of the folding chair, his use of the ‘three disc hinge’ was considered genius. Over time, the Plia chair became a real cult object. This set is in very good vintage condition with light traces of use, only one of the chairs has a small piece of plastic broken off.
