About this vintage design furniture
Superb pair of cream lacquered wood and brass lamps by Jean-Claude Mahey published by the House of Romeo in the 70s. These lamps are very decorative, and rare in this color. They have been cleaned, and are in very good condition. Typical of J.C.'s lighting work. Mahey in the 70's. The dimensions are with black lampshades.

About the designer
Jean-Claude MAHEY
Mahey is a French designer born in Paris in 1937. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for designer Jacques Adnet. He then opened his own design studio in 1968.
