About this vintage design furniture

Rare pair of 1970s harlequins, the "Kalaari" ceiling pendants designed by Vico Magistretti for Oluce, Milan. One in black, the other in white - these large 65cm diameter lights make a huge difference With the bulb nestled in the inverted cone at the base of the lamp, the light source is reflected from the underside of both shades, resulting in soft indirect light. The paint on the top surfaces of both lamps is original and blistered, a common problem with painted aluminum - please study the photos. These two lamps have been deliberately left in their original paint but have been cleaned and rewired to UK 240v specifications.
