About this vintage design furniture
Modular wall shelving system by the designer Peter Petrides from the 1960s, produced by the German manufacturer Interna. The wall shelf is made of walnut wood and consists of four 245 cm high side panels between which the shelves can be placed at freely selectable distances from each other. An 82 cm wide and two 42 cm wide pedestal boxes, each with two drawers, serve as the basis. The shelf is 45 cm deep at the base and tapers upwards to a shelf depth of 25 cm. A particularly beautiful detail are the chamfered edges at the front of each shelf, which make the shelves look slimmer and softer.
