Vintage sculptural high back Kurt Ostervig 1960

This is a beautiful Danish design from the 60s made of teak wood. Danish sculptural teak armchair with high backrest by Kurt Ostervig, circa 1960s. Solid teak construction with sloping rear legs and sculpted leaf-shaped floating armrests. Newly upholstered in a gray fabric with completely new foam. Tightly upholstered curved backrest and seat according to the original design. Very comfortable and compact lounge chair. A rare and striking mid-century Danish modern lounge chair. Reminiscent of designs by Vladimir Kagan. Timeless style.
