About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful extendable teak dining table designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé furniture in 1960. These tables have been in production since 1955 and have not change very much over time. The table is extendable with a hidden leaf from 130 – 170 cm. The condition of this Wébé dining table is still original and very good. Material: teak and teak veneer. Dimensions: h x w x d 74 x 130 – 170 x 87 cm. Source; Catalogue Wébé furniture 1966, page 8 and Wébé price list 1966, page 4. The price is only for the table, not the chairs.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
