Vintage Freestanding Rocket Floor Lamp In Fiber Glass And Wood, Novoplast, Czechoslovakia, 1950

Free standing floor lamp, the model was named a Rocket in Czechoslovakia. The lamp was produced in Czechoslovakia by Novoplast company. The futuristic design was inspired by the begininng of space exploration of the Soviet Union in the 1950s. The lamp is tall and elegant. The fiberglass shield in yelloworange color is held on a dark beech wooden frame. Three wooden legs are slim and light. Very good, original condition with only minor wear. The wooden parts were restored. The lamp works on one bulb, European plug. The light is not too strong, but the colorful fiberglass shield lights up and gives a beautiful mood light.
