Borge JENSEN & SONNER

Jensen grew up in a family of craftsmen and developed an early interest in design and craftsmanship. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he was trained as a sculptor. His love of natural materials and uncluttered aesthetics is reflected in his later creations.

In 1945, Børge Jensen founded his own design studio in Copenhagen, which later became Børge Jensen & Sønner (Børge Jensen & Sons). The company specialized in the design and production of high-end furniture and interior design products.

Børge Jensen's designs were characterized by their elegant, functional simplicity. He was influenced by modern Scandinavian design and sought to create timeless pieces that would stand the test of time. He often used natural materials such as wood and leather, and emphasized clean lines and organic forms.
