About this vintage design furniture

Famous lounge chair model 269 designed by Czech designer Jindrich Halabala in the 30s. and made by UP. Zavody. The frame is made out of bent beech wood stained and hand polished with shellack. The upholstery is made out of fully natural, long hair ( 12 to 15cm ) Icelandic sheepskin. Wool provides the chairs fantastic comfort and warmth also many anti- allergic and electrostatic properties. Manufacturers label has been preserved although, due to the entire restoration it was separated from the furniture and it is available separately on the piece of the original fabric. One of the lounge chairs is slightly lower than the other.
