About this vintage design furniture
Very rare large edition table lamp Baobab, model 4044, by iGuzzini, Italy (labeled). White steel stand with 2 E27 fittings, white plexiglass shade with transparent rim. This large edition was made from 1978 until 1982. In good vintage condition: white shade has at 1 side small spots and a small damage at the transparent rim, scaly lacquer on top of the stand.

About the designer
Harvey GUZZINI
Harvey Guzzini (1929-1996) was an Italian designer best known for founding the "Harvey Guzzini" lighting company in 1958, with his brother Giulio Guzzini. Harvey Guzzini studied architecture in Rome before concentrating on industrial design.
