About this vintage design furniture
This iconic piece of furniture is one of the most sought after Austrian Post War Designs and has been created by Roland Rainer the most famous Viennese Midcentury Modern Architect for his Vienna City Hall 1956. Rainer was not only responsible for the architecture of this building but also for the Interior. Very well known and sought after as well are the stacking chairs he used there. The wardrobe or cloth rack is manufactured from blackened iron with chromed hooks. Its pure and functional design makes it a timeless design icon not only for Austrian Design. It is in original vintage condition with a charming patina.

About the designer
Roland RAINER
Roland Rainer was an Austrian architect and designer who was born in 1910 and died in 2004. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and began his career working for the Austrian architect Clemens Holzmeister.
