About this vintage design furniture
The Wilkhahn 232 was the office chair of the 70s in German companies that had a sense of style. This chair with white plastic shell and orange fabric cover is one of the early models with the original castors that give the chair its character. It is in a good condition according to its age. The seat shell shows minimal scratches in the lower part, the bright orange fabric cover has no tears or holes and is not worn out. Minimal signs of wear. The backrest on this model is infinitely adjustable to the rear. The chair rotates 360 degrees. Wilkhahn was founded as a chair factory by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening more than 100 years ago. In 1946, contact was established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with the designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the premium manufacturers of office furniture.
