About this vintage design furniture
A pair "Sphere" dining chairs, designed in 1971 by Boris Tabacoff. Plexiglass shells, stainless steel frame on a circular base. Original cushions in black leather. Made by MMM "Mobilier Modulaire Moderne" in France. The base and cushions are in perfect condition, the shells have some light scratches as shown in the pictures.

1927 - 1985Boris Tabacoff (1930-2021) was a Russian-born French designer, known for his contemporary furniture creations of the 1950s-1970s. Born in St. Petersburg, he fled Russia with his family in 1919 to settle in France.
