Mid century danish high secretary dresser in teak & oak by Johannes Sorth for Nexø Møbelfabrik Bornholm. 3 large drawers underneath the pull-out writing surface. Above with open shelves and behind the tambour door with small drawers and open compartments. Denmark, 1950s. In good vintage condition with normal signs of age and traces of use. Ready to stand. Size: 42.5 60.0 x 100.0 x 180.0 CM ( D x W x H ), recording height: 72.0 CM

About the designer
Johannes SORTH
Johannes Sorth was a renowned Danish designer who was born in 1937 and died in 2017. He is best known for his work in industrial design, particularly for his elegant modern furniture designs. Sorth studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 1963.
