About this vintage design furniture

The sofa model 66-S3 and lounge chair were designed in the 1950s by Folke Ohlsson and manufactured by DUX. The furniture has been completely refurbished. Wooden elements made of teak wood have been cleaned of old coatings and finished again with Danish Oil. The upholstery has been replaced with a new one in beige. The upholstery sponge was replaced too.

Folke Ohlsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1919 and died in 2002. He is best known for his work in furniture design, in particular for his contribution to the rise of Scandinavian design in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s.
