About this vintage design furniture
Counterweight pendant lamp attributed to Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce 1940’s. This height adjustable pendant lamp is made of brass, metal, aluminium, wood and produced in Italy in the 1940s. Because there was a shortage of metal at that time, the two wheels (to adjust the height) were made of wood. This lamp is attributed to Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce based on the use of similar model parts published in Gino Sarfatti 1938-1973, Marco Romanelli and Sandra Severi, Page. 465 and 468. This pendant is stil in good condition with clear signs of use and wear to the original red paint. It has new electrical wiring (grounded) and the brass parts are polished. Dimensions: h x d 120 – 200 x 35.5 cm.
