Mid-Century Kurt Østervig Coffee Table for Jason Møbler, Danish 1960s

A fabulous teak & rattan Coffee Table (Model 214) designed by Kurt Østervig for Jason Møbelfabrik of Denmark, 1960s. The table features a woven rattan or wicker magazine shelf with a teak frame which elegantly sweeps into each of the four tapering legs. In overall good, solid vintage condition and with a wonderful grain and patina, the table has a few issues of note: the top has a couple of largish marks; the rattan shelf has some staining, a couple of small splits and a small missing segment of weave (see photos), but absolutely nothing to detract.
