Rare piece designed by Dutch designer Ate van Apeldoorn who is famous for is very graphic and minimalistic style.Very robust armchair made of solid pinewood. The seating and backrest are made of saddle leather and are suspended in an ingenious fashion into the frame. Produced by Houtwerk Hattem.

About the designer
Ate VAN APELDOORN
Ate van Apeldoorn was a Dutch furniture designer and manufacturer, born in 1932 and died in 2007. He studied at the Arnhem Academy of Fine Arts and began his career working for the architectural firm Van den Broek & Bakema.
