About this vintage design furniture
The lamp was designed by Svend Middelboe in 1962 and manufactured by Nordisk Solar. It is a pearl not only of Danish, but also of global design. The individual shades of this lamp are arranged in the shape of a funnel towards the center, so arranged that the light is reflected in the upper and lower parts of the lamp. The reflection ensures even light distribution on the lamp surface. The lamp is in good condition, a few small scratches and chips. An extremely rare and expensive brass copy. The lamp has been dismantled, thoroughly cleaned, a new braided cable of about 3 meters has been installed.

About the designer
Svend MIDDELBOE
Søren Middelboe is a Danish industrial designer born in 1988. He studied at the Royal School of Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen, where he graduated in 2014.
