About this vintage design furniture
Beautifully sized oval dining table with integrated extension leaf butterfly, Scandinavian style, vintage, mid-century, top covered with blond teak veneer, produced in the 1960's and 70's. ~ The width of the table has a very nice design with curved rather than straight edges. ~ When closed, this table is 144 cm wide to comfortably seat 4 people. ~ When open, it is 181 cm wide to seat 6-8 people comfortably. ~ The table is in very good original condition, with traces of use, a mark of time, consistent with its age (see photo). Slight traces of use and patina of time on the top of the table, the legs and foot caps, there is a tiny mark that I put next to a penny for perspective (see pictures) There are 2 handles integrated under each end of the table top to make it easier to open ~ The table has just been cleaned, it is solid, stable and sturdy. The butterfly extension and hinges work perfectly ~ Slight traces of use and marks of time on the legs and top (see photos) ~ A beautiful piece that will complement any contemporary rustic or mid-century decor. The chairs shown in the photos are available for sale separately on the site (ref. 123053).
