About this vintage design furniture
FM is short for Feldballes Møbelfabrik that had the fortune to have succesful designer Kai Kristiansen on their side in the 50s and 60s. Kai Kristiansens most successful design for FM was the FM Reolsystem Wall Unit from 1957. Proved to be a huge success with sales throughout Europe and the US. The modular shelving unit was made in both teak and rosewood and came in a variety of add-on shapes and sizes to suit ones need. This particular Reolsystem has 2 stands and 8 shelves, with one of those of smaller size. On the picture you see that it is the third shelve. But off-course you can position it wherever you want. This particular rosewood Reol system is in a very good vintage condition but has some color differences on the boards and small signs of age and use.
