About this vintage design furniture
Set of 6 chairs and a coffee table by Roger Landault for the famous house Sentou in Paris which has just celebrated its 70th anniversary. Wooden structure and skai seat. About Robert Sentou and Roger Landault's chairs: Since then, this provincial house has become a famous Parisian brand and still maintains a quality line - but which chair is described as follows by the Okxo sales site: "Sentou is re-releasing the Betty chair dating from 1962 Without taking a wrinkle and more than ever in the trend of the moment, we like its Nordic spirit lines and its timeless retro style. "An investigation shows that it is older and is not Scandinavian but French, typically in the "Reconstruction style", hence its "timeless retro" side, as the communicator would say. In fact, it is the descendant of a famous chair created by Roger Landault in 1954 for ABC (CTB contest 54-55). Designed for Roger Sentou in 1958, it was called Ellipse at that time. The chairs are in excellent condition with some marks and signs and imperfections of use of time on the seat and backrest. Seat height: 44 cm. The table measures 240cmx80cm (with extensions)
