About this vintage design furniture

An early two seater sofa in lacquered teak by Danish designer Ole Wanscher for France & Daverkosen in the early 1950’s, model number FD 109. A beautiful piece of design, simple and elegant lines to the teak frame which has aged nicely with great colour and patina. The seat cushions have been replaced and reupholstered in a dark red wool and 50’s inspired stripy fabric in keeping with the era, adding a nice contrast to this Ole Wanscher sofa. Excellent original condition, the wood has been cleaned and polished and the new cushions have been upholstered in fine quality fabric, so they will look great in any interior. Seat Height 40 cm
