About this vintage design furniture
Mid-century candleholder designed by Swedish designer Erik Höglund and made by Boda (Sweden) in the 1960s. Body made of ribbed amber art glass, with the under top made of transparent art glass. Base and top made of black painted metal (iron). H: 16.5cm. Marked at the bottom "Boda". Very good vintage condition.

Erik Höglund (1932-1998) was a Swedish designer and artist, best known for his creations in glass and metal. He was born in Karlskrona, Sweden, and studied at the Konstfack School of Art in Stockholm.
