About this vintage design furniture
About this item Metamorphic teak dining table from the 1960s. Splayed legs with detailed joints make this much more desirable than others currently on the market. Know as the elevator table, and the innovative design sees the coffee table transform into a dining table capable of seating six people. Extra leaves are concealed beneath the removable top, to create extra width if needed. Made with great attention to detail, this is a high-end piece, beautiful wood grain and superbly built. 135 x 91cm x 71cm high as dining table. 134cm x 54cm x 53cm as coffee table Cosmetically, the whole piece is in good lightly-used condition—some surface marks as pictured. Possibly by Kia Kristiansen, but not marked.
