Giancarlo PIRETTI for ANONIMA CASTELLI Pair of "Alky" armchairs in foam and raspberry fabric designed in 1969 Height: 85 cm- Width: 65 cm- Depth: 65 cm 14 kg Giancarlo Piretti is a designer who has profoundly marked the history of Italian design. He has developed an innovative approach to the creation of seating (chairs, warmers etc). A prolific designer with an overflowing creativity, he is the author of many design icons. Among them are the chair warmer "Alky" (1969), the chair "Plia" (1969) and the seat "Plona" (1970). His line of furniture entitled "Piretti Collection" presented in 1988 at NeoCon in Chicago is a marvel of innovation.
