About this vintage design furniture
A lovely pair of Folke Ohlsson chairs in oak designed for Dux in the 1950’s. Beautiful elegant lines and curves to the oak frame which has amazing grain and colour, complemented nicely by the new kvadrat wool upholstery. A lovely pair of rare mid century chairs by a leading designer of the period Swede Folke Ohlsson. The oak has been cleaned and oiled to really show of its natural patina. While the cushions stripped back, foam and innards replaced and cleaned and new fabric re upholstered in the original way. Seat Height 44 cm

About the designer
Folke OHLSSON
Folke Ohlsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1919 and died in 2002. He is best known for his work in furniture design, in particular for his contribution to the rise of Scandinavian design in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s.
