Vintage office chair by Delta Design Wilkhahn Delta 2000 Highback leather

This Wilkhahn Delta 2000 Highback office chair in a deep black leather tone, brushed aluminium and with black shells, is in excellent condition. The leather is impeccable. The plastic shell and the aluminium base with castors show only minimal signs of wear. The chair swivels and is tiltable. The Delta 2000 model was designed in 1968 by the Delta Group. A classic of the Mid Century Modern office chairs. More then 100 years ago wilkhahn was founded by friedrich hahne and christian wilkening as stool factory. In 1946 the get in touch with the Deutsche Werkstätten and designers as Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche who work in the tradition of the Bauhaus. Since then wilkhahn is the german premium manufacturer for office furniture.
