About this vintage design furniture
Pendant lamp designed by Carl Fagerlund for Swedish glass maker Orrefors during the 1960s. Flattened sphere shape in green tinted glass with a cylinder internal diffuser in clear pressed glass. Brass fittings. New electricity. Very good condition with patina. Note: one minor chip on the bottom edge

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
