About this vintage design furniture
ST 7128 tripod floor lamp in black, white and grey lacquered metal from the 1950s. Design by Niek Hiemstra for Hiemstra Evolux. Three bulbs light downwards and one upwards. Two pull switches. The paint on the foot is peeling off.

About the designer
Niek Hiemstra
Niek Hiemstra is a Dutch designer born in 1960. He studied product design at the Groningen Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands, graduating in 1984. After working for a few years as a freelance designer, Hiemstra joined the Gispen product design company in 1988.
