Vintage 'Oyster F157' lounge chair for Artifort Pierre Paulin 1950s

A chair should be more than simply functional. The Oyster was Artifort’s easy chair of the sixties. The metal frame is so minimalist that the seating shell seems to float. All over the world, this chair decorated, and still decorates, the living areas of Artifort fans with a great feeling for style. The Oyster was in the Artifort collection until 1979 and by request Artifort brought it back into the collection in 1999. This piece is a first edition in beautiful original condition.
