This black leather armchair comes in excellent condition. It is without the usual tear and wear of this model at the armrests and the sensible backside of the backrest is in great condition as well. Only the backrest cushion had a small cut, which was repaired already, and the base made of brushed aluminum shows some smaller scratches. The seat cushion gives a very good seating comfort. The accompanying ottoman is in excellent condition as well. The pure dimension and the angles of this chair impress still today and make this Siesta 62 to one of the most attractive armchairs of the 60s. Hans Kaufeld was a German Designer who founded his company in 1918 producing furniture to the highest quality level. Kaufeld delivered their chairs also to the chancellors office in the 60s. This Siesta 62 chair was designed in the early 60s from Jacques Brule for Kaufeld.
