About this vintage design furniture

Pair of armchairs published by Slezakove Zavody in Prague, Czechoslovakia, under model number K29. Slezàk edited these armchairs under a license bought before the war from Thonet for his famous model S411, designed by Gispen in 1932. These armchairs were renovated and upholstered in black leather in 2017. The beechwood armrests have been given a multi-layer lacquer finish, as is common practice with the pianos of major brands. The chromed tubular steel structure has been left in its original state, slightly stitched on its lower part, which contributes to give these armchairs a patina of authenticity.
