About this vintage design furniture
Large table by Gio Ponti from the '50s. Oak top with a rectangle of black formica supported by a similar band. The fluted legs on the upper part and with brass shoes are mounted at an angle, which is the main characteristic of Gio Ponti's work of this period.

Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
