About this vintage design furniture

Pair of Louis Poulsen PH 43 lamps designed by Poul Henningsen in 1966. This set dates from a production series in the mid 70s and is made of powder coated aluminum. Overall condition is very good. The PH 43 was Henningsen last design for Louis Poulsen and are in fact a modernised version of his 1926 design PH 88. This PH 88 was a design from Henningsen’s early design days at Louis Poulsen. These lamps provide for a warm light down which is ideal for table or kitchen. A red light shield is inside the lamps to prevent direct light from the bulb.
