About this vintage design furniture

Launched by Fog & Morup in 1963, the "Corona" conical pendant is another instant classic designed by Johannes Hammerborg, their design director. It consists of a two-piece spun aluminium cone with a black-painted steel band at the joint that protects the bulb and allows light to shine through to the outer surface. According to the literature of the time, the inside of the strip is painted in "Cyclamen" colour, which adds to the effect. These four lamps are in good condition, they show some scratches, marks and paint loss, but nothing that detracts from the overall impression. One of the lamps is painted a lighter shade of grey on the inside. They have been gently cleaned and fitted with a new length of two-conductor cord.
