Pair of vintage Verona lamps by Svend Middelboe, Nordisk Solar, Denmark, 1972

The lamp was designed by Svend Middelboe in 1962 and manufactured by Nordisk Solar. It is a pearl not only of Danish, but also of global design. The individual shades of this lamp are arranged in the shape of a funnel towards the center, so arranged that the light is reflected in the upper and lower parts of the lamp. The reflection ensures even light distribution on the lamp surface. Lamps are in almost perfect condition for their years, have slight signs of use. The lamp has been cleaned, a new 2.5 meter braided cable has been installed.
