About this vintage design furniture
Designed by V B Wilkes around 1969, G-Plan made both circular and oval versions of this table. Originally designed in teak with a glass insert for the top, other versions including a white frame and completely glass tops were available. This is the quintessential G-Plan coffee table of the 1970’s and it’s design and form are still as relevant now as they were when they were first produced.

About the designer
Victor B. WILKINS
Charles Victor Wilkins (1893-1969) was an American industrial designer known for his work in the 1920s and 1930s. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and studied at the Art Students League of New York and the New York School of Fine and Applied Art.
