Rosewood sideboard Vintage Rio by Johannes Andersen from Scandinavia 1960

Scandinavian Rio Rosewood enfilade by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik. Made in Denmark in the 1960s. It consists of 4 drawers with integrated handles in period green felt covered solid wood (the 1st drawer is double), 4 sliding doors with integrated handles also in solid wood, 2 height adjustable shelves (one large and one small) and 3 sliding drawers on the right side. Superb state of preservation : restored piece of furniture. Very beautiful veining, the rosewood has kept its original varnish and gloss. Antique furniture patinated with some traces of time, felt in its juice. A classic of Scandinavian design, timeless and elegant, very beautifully made.
