About this vintage design furniture

The armchair type GFM-87 is currently one of the most famous Polish armchair, a true symbol of the 1960s. It was designed in 1965 by the famous designer Edmund Goma and produced by the Guest Furniture Factory. It has never been mass-produced and is therefore very rare both in salons and for sale. The chair has undergone a thorough renovation. The wood was carefully sanded and recoated with an ecological teak stain with a satin finish. The seat was disassembled to the frame itself and then the structure was reinforced and the cavities were filled. New upholstery belts have been fitted and a new sponge with a high resistance to beating has been applied. Finally, the seat was upholstered in yellow navy blue velvet fabric with white edge.
