Pair of vintage square rosewood coffee tables by Heinz Lilienthal, 1960

Rare are the coffee tables of the German designer Heinz Lilienthal, who was also known for designing wall decorations in metal, wood and concrete. The beautifully patterned table top is a stainless steel plate on a brown wooden base. The German glass painter, furniture designer and decorator studied at the Staatliche Kunsthochschule Bremen. His diverse skills are reflected in the unusual combination of materials and forms. The large table measures 99cm x 72cm. The smallest table measures 72cm x 72cm.
