About this vintage design furniture
Early PK22 lounge chair designed by Poul Kjaerholm for E. Kold Christensen, Denmark in 1956. This rare design classic comes from the first owner and was bought in the early seventies. It has always been well maintained and is because of that still in good original condition with beautiful patina due to age and use. The leather has been professionally restored and reinforced invisibly on the inside (on the corners of the seat), making the leather strong and sturdy again so it can last for many years again. The leather seat and backrest are also provided with a canvas underlay to provide extra support (original). Material: metal chrome plated, canvas and leather. Dimensions: h x w x d 73 x 63 x 65 cm and the seat height is 35 cm. Marked: with the EKC Denmark stamp (see photos).
