About this vintage design furniture
The Optima lamp set was covered in 1972 by Hans Due and produced by Danish Fog og Morup. The series is characterized by soft lines, defines inspired by space style. Lamps in this series have an internal reflective screen with a stylish red inner line that provides even, non-dazzling lighting in both high and low suspension conditions. The lamp is in very good condition, for its age, light traces in the form of small upholstery and discoloration. The lamp has been cleaned and a new 2 meter cable has been installed.

About the designer
Hans DUE
Hans Due was a Danish designer who was born in 1945 and died in 2011. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts before working for several Danish design companies, including Bo Bedre, Rosendahl and Hübsch.
