About this vintage design furniture

This is a very rare floor lamp, model NX38, designed by Louis Kalff and manufactured by Philips in the Netherlands around 1950. This is stunning piece is a very rare find of Dutch design It has a thin grey metal arm with tripod base, holding a red metal cone with the light bulb under a grey disk shaped hood. A minimalist design with a surprising eye for detail The perforation in the middle of the hood allows light to also shine upwards when lit. It spreads a very nice, slightly diffused light. A fantastic find that will make a true eye-catcher in any interior, adding mid-century Dutch modernism to the decor. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. This is a rare original
