About this vintage design furniture
A very hard to find Brazilian rosewood edition three seat sofa designed by Grete Jalk for France & Son. Only a relatively small amount of chairs and sofas were offered in rosewood in the mid 60’s. This example features very exuberant timber grain. The original sprung cushions have just been recovered in Divina fabric from Kvadrat. We have also taken some images of this item without the cushions as the quality and subtle detailing to the frame in areas that would not usually be seen should be appreciated. Offered in very good condition with makers medallion to the inside frame.
