About this vintage design furniture

White lacquered aluminum. Good vintage condition. The Danish architect Sophus Frandsen designed this iconic pendant for Fog & Mørup in 1963. In the tradition of the Danish lighting pioneer Poul Henningsen, he did a lot of research to the nature of light. For most of his career he taught lighting design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. The Fibonacci is an almost completely anti-dazzling light sculpture with a pleasantly even light distribution. Its lamp holder is adjustable in height so that the distance to the shades can be adapted. Because of this variable suspension system, it can be used with various bulb sizes to create the desired atmosphere. This feather light design won the gold metal at the Leipzig fair in 1967 and remained in production until Fog & Mørup’s demise in the early 80s. dimensions: height: 27 cm width: 46 cm depth: 46 cm We have 1 lamp available.
