Vintage pair of Kengu brown leather armchaires by Elsa and Nordahl Solheim for Rykken

Set of 2 swinging Kengu Loungechairs in a chocolate brown leather color. The chairs come in good condition, soft leather without any tear and wear and a rosewood base in a dark brown color. Both chairs can easily be transformed into a 2 seater sofa. The Kengu loungechair was designed by Elsa and Nordahl Solheim for the Norwegian manufacturer Rykken in the 60s. The chairs were produced during the 70s and became with its extravagant rosewood base a classic of scandinavian design. Very comfortable seating.
