Genni" deckchair and its ottoman. Created in 1935. By Gabriele Mucchi Edited by Zanotta. Italy. Dating from the 60's Chrome-plated metal frame, seat cushions and armrests Covered in black leather. The "Genni" deckchair offers extreme comfort thanks to its steel spiral suspension and its seat that can be adjusted in two positions. This piece presents a contemporary design that is as up-to-date today as it was when it was first created in 1935. Its line evokes the creations of the Bauhaus. About the designer
Gabriele MUCCHI
Gabriele Mucchi (1899-2002) was an Italian designer, painter, sculptor and architect. Born in Livorno, Tuscany, he studied at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts before moving to Milan in 1926.
