Vase that can be used as a pitcher by the Swedish ceramist Gunnar Nylund made in his workshop in Rörstrand. The figurative design is typical of the 50s, the glaze of the stoneware brings green reflections when it catches the light.

About the designer
Gunnar NYLUND
Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) was a Swedish designer known for his contributions to the Scandinavian ceramics industry. Born in Paris, Nylund spent his childhood in France and studied sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1925, he returned to Sweden and began working in the ceramics industry in Upsala-Ekeby.
