Excellent and rare solid teak armchair Mod. 317 designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgard Nielsen with original woven cane seat in excellent original condition. It features beautiful organic sculptural arms and back, original manufacturers label on the underside. It is in beautiful original vintage condition.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
